Income Protection

Disability Insurance

Income drives everything! Income enables you to pay the mortgage or rent, buy food, keep the power on, go on vacation, and pay for everything else you consume in life.

If you asked the average person what is their most valuable asset, they would almost certainly say it is their house or maybe their 401k. However, for a person of working age, it’s almost certainly their ability to earn a living.

But what if they became too sick or injured to be able to work, not only in the here and now, but possibly for the next 10, 20, 30, or even 40 years. That’s a lot of lost income worth A LOT of money … far more than the value of their home.

Disability insurance steps up and fills that lack of income. Even if a person has disability insurance through their employer, they’re quite often inadequately covered.

Together we can explore what your income needs would look like if something unfortunate were to happen … and then design a solution to cover that risk.

Life Insurance

People will gladly insure things that they have keys for … their house, car, motorcycle, jet ski, you name it. But insure their lives? “Too expensive!”

BUT …

What would things look like for the surviving family if something tragic happened and the paycheck of the major breadwinner stopped flowing into the family checking account?

Could they stay in the family home, or would they have to move to a worse part of town, threatening their safety and separating them from their friends? Could the kids’ education still be funded? And what about the bills?

That lost income is going to need to be replaced. On top of that, financial concerns are the last thing that the family needs in what’s the worst moment of their lives. They need time to grieve without that additional stress.

Most people are wildly underinsured, if they’re insured at all. I would be happy to conduct a proper “needs analysis” so that the family is protected properly.

Let’s work together to make sure that the family not only survives but continues to thrive.
